To maintain your manufacturer's warranty, it is recommended that you get your carpets professionally cleaned every 12–18 months. In general, it's a good rule of thumb. Homes with pets, kids, or high traffic may benefit from more frequent cleaning.
Professional carpet cleaning is almost always worth it because it provides clarity and peace of mind. After my Double Clean carpet cleaning method, you will know what is wear and what was dirt.

You're due for professional carpet cleaning if vacuuming no longer improves the look or feel of your carpets, your carpets feel sticky or matted, traffic lanes or dull areas are visible, stains won’t budge, or it’s been more than 12–18 months since your last professional cleaning.
Most carpets dry within 8–16 hours. Drying time depends on airflow, temperature, humidity, and carpet type.
I groom the carpet after cleaning to speed up drying. Additional ways to speed up drying include increasing airflow with fans, raising the temperature in the house, opening windows when permitted, setting the furnace fan to “On,” and keeping doors open to promote circulation.
Yes. That’s an important consideration and I’m mindful of the products I use. I choose professional cleaning solutions specifically intended for residential carpets and homes. If you have any sensitivities or concerns, please let me know before cleaning begins.
The short answer is no. I’m happy to clean any carpet that is accessible, and there’s no requirement furniture be moved before I arrive. Most clients choose to move small personal items, breakables, and clear general clutter ahead of time.
I am happy to move light furniture such as chairs and small tables as part of the service. For safety reasons, I don’t move heavy items like beds, dressers, or large shelving units. Please let me know ahead of time if there is any furniture you want moved so we can discuss it and plan accordingly.
I can do that! When clients want all carpeted areas cleaned, including under large and heavy furniture, I am typically completing the job over multiple visits. This allows areas to be cleaned and fully dried. Then, furniture is moved and the remaining carpet can be cleaned.
